Mid-Hudson Woodworkers Annual Banquet
What: Annual Recognition Banquet
When: April 18, 2008 6:00 PM
Where: Twin Lakes Restaurant, Kingston, NY
Cost: $27 per person
We will recognize Matt Clarke, president of the Kaatskill Wodturners and woodturning instructor. Herm Finkbeiner one of the NWA founding members will talk about the early days of Woodworkers Showcase and the NWA.
We will have a good raffle with donated items from vendors and crafted things from members.

Mid-Hudson Woodworkers Meeting March 20
What: M-H Woodworkers regular meeting
When: Thursday March 20 at 7:30 PM
Where: Hurley Reformed Church
This will be our last chance for a get together before Showcase. Please try to get your application forms submitted (see the Newsletter) for any items you wish to display. Remember to bring your money ($27 per person) for the banquet on April 18. There will be our usual very good "Show and Tell" so bring something interesting and share it with the members.

Kaatskill Woodturners Meeting March 12
What: Regular meeting of Kaatskill Woodturners
When: March 12, 2008 at 7 PM
Where: Opdahl Building
Who: The presenter will be Joe Larese ( a member of the Danbury Woodturners Club). Joe will present techniques for turning small items. Matt is trying to get him to present his 'signature' process for the 'double-ended box'. Matt will also distribute some written directions for turning Bill Reynold's Ring Holder that he wants to distribute as favors at the banquet.
Come on down and experience the balmy comfort provided by the new heater!
