Kaatskill Woodturners Meeting October 12

What: Kaatskill Woodturners Meeting
when: Wednesday October 12, 2011 at 7:00 PM
Where: Opdahl Building

Who: Steve Sherman

Have you seen those hollow-form icicle ornaments and wondered how they are made? Steve is going to show us on Wednesday evening -- 7PM at Opdahls'. Most hanging ornments are meant to be 2 oz. or less -- a tall order for wooden ware. Steve will use his nano's to demonstrate hollowing and finial design. If you have made any of these ornaments, bring some in for show and tell.

Steve has an expanded article about his nano tools in this month's Woodturning Design. In addition, next month's article will feature his salt box design.
