What: Mid-Hudson Woodworkers Meeting

Where: Hurley Reformed Church

Who: We will be treated to an interesting presentation from the folks from "up north". They are engaging in a project to build urns or more properly containers, for the unclaimed cremated remains of people who have served in the United States Military. It is estimated that there are 2,000 of these in every state.

There are programs in place to make two types of containers: one turned and the other more traditional boxes. Details of these projects will be presented.

The Urns will go to the Patriot Guard Riders who have a cremains recovery program in place to address this most important need.

This is obviously a very important program that fills a need; "lest we forget".

And of course, we will be getting all the details and logistical plans for our upcoming show on Saturday October 22.

This will be an important meeting. Don't miss it!
